Martin marches on in Manchester

martin-silke-150x150After winning the main event of the GUKPT leg 3 at the Vic in London, Martin Silke arrived at the G Casino in Manchester on monday to take part in the £200 event as the build up to leg 4 continued.

With 174 runners for the event, Martin had no trouble in dispatching 173 of them to take the top spot, and a prize of £10,860, beating Soleman Masud Janjuna into 2nd place who took £6960 for a very fine performance, with Peter Charalambous  in 3rd.

The £300 Double Chance freeze-out on tuesday saw 131 players taking their seats , making a prize pool for this tournament of over £39,000.

Iqbal Patal took the win with a very nice £12,480 , beating Peter Kvisthammer into 2nd place  £8060, with Christopher McNicholls taking 3rd place and £5500 .
