Most online poker rooms offer player points to reward real money players. With these rewards players usually recieve points based on the rake generated by the player or by the player being involved in a raked hand.
Players can usually exchange the points they have earned for gifts, such as iPods or TVs, or cash rewards and tournament buy-ins/tokens offered by the online poker sites.
Sun Poker have a cash a freeroll entry reward system, known as VIP rewards, for their player points. It’s simple! For every 1000 player points earned you can cash out $1 in real money (minimum of 5000 points each time). These player points can be accumlated quickly and as players progress through the VIP tier levels the points begin to grow even quicker.
